We offer seminars on the first Saturday of the month at 9:30 AM in our upstairs conference room, covering subjects ranging from “Pond Building 101” to the increasingly popular “Living Swimming Ponds” topic. Attending seminars is a great classroom experience that will enable you to better understand your pond! If you’re looking at installing a pond, our seminars will teach you everything you need to successfully build a pond. If you’re hiring one of our trusted contractors to build your pond, we still encourage you to attend our seminars in order to learn as much as you can about this wonderful hobby!

You’re in good hands!

Water Garden Gems has been serving its customers and helping them build better ponds since 1990. We are family owned and operated and this is evident in the passion we show for our work–regardless of the subject! Our classes reflect both our love for water gardening and our expertise in the subject, allowing you to learn from our experience!

Shane Stefek, President of Water Garden Gems, teaches nearly all of our seminars and does most of our on-site customer consultations. Shane has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has helped design and build more ponds than we can count! He is an award-winning writer for PondTrade Magazine and has accepted speaking engagements for the Southwest Research Institute, the San Antonio Home and Garden Show, the Austin Pond Society, the Texas Koi and Fancy Goldfish Society, the Water Garden Club of South Texas, the San Antonio Men’s Gardeners Club, the San Antonio Rainbow Gardener’s Club, and many more!
